But iMovie isn't there, only two unrelated updates. I followed Rich's advice to trash iMovie, then go to the App Store and check purchases to get the latest compatible version. (Odd, considering that those iMovie upgrades span the last 4 years.) I'm assuming that 10.1.16 (from about 6 months ago) probably is compatible with Mojave but Software Update has NEVER listed an upgrade for iMovie for me. For various reasons, I don't want to upgrade to Catalina right now. No good.Īnd, I've followed the Community advice, and deleted preferences etc.Īs others have mentioned, the latest version of iMovie (10.2.x) is NOT Mojave compatible. I have followed advice at and reset the NVRAM, PRAM, set up a new library, etc. In the list of upgrades, it mentions that they fixed this problem of iMovie crashing whenever you import video. There have been 15 upgrades to 10.1 since then. ![]() The version of iMovie that was included in Mojave is 10.1.1. ![]()
